With immense pride, I welcome you the website of the European Union Delegation to Tajikistan. As we commemorate three decades of close cooperation, I am inspired by the remarkable progress we have achieved together and excited by the opportunities that lie ahead. 

Over the years, our partnership has evolved from providing humanitarian aid and reconstruction efforts to engaging in a comprehensive collaboration focused on sustainable development, security, modernization, and empowering Tajikistan’s vibrant youth. The European Union remains steadfast in supporting Tajikistan's journey towards becoming a resilient, prosperous, and inclusive society. 

Our efforts encompass crucial sectors such as rural development, healthcare, education, and economic modernization. We prioritize fostering entrepreneurship, creating sustainable jobs, and equipping young people with the skills needed for today’s dynamic labour market. Digitalization and connectivity are pivotal to Tajikistan's future growth, and we are committed to supporting these transformative initiatives. 

Environmental sustainability and climate resilience are at the heart of our partnership. The EU actively promotes green energy, efficient resource management, and regional cooperation on water and energy resources. We are also dedicated to championing human rights, good governance, and social resilience, ensuring that Tajikistan’s development benefits all its citizens. 

Educational exchanges, including the Erasmus+ program, facilitate cultural understanding and skill development, providing Tajik students with the opportunity to experience European academic excellence. 

Together, we face global, regional, and local challenges with an approach rooted in partnership, dialogue, and innovation. I am confident that, by working hand-in-hand, we can unlock new opportunities and deepen our collaboration for the benefit of the people of Tajikistan. 

The EU Delegation, along with myself and its team, is dedicated to advancing these shared goals. We eagerly anticipate strengthening our cooperation and building a brighter future for Tajikistan.
