The European Union Delegation to Sierra Leone on Friday 8th May 2026, celebrated the awardees of Culture Moves Salone, an initiative supporting artists, cultural practitioners, and creative organisations across Sierra Leone through regional mobility, exchange, and professional development opportunities.

As of 10 April 2026 the European Entry-Exit System (EES) is fully operational at all external border crossing points of the countries using EES.

The European Union has reaffirmed its strong commitment to decentralisation and inclusive local development in Sierra Leone with the launch of two EU-funded projects in Bo District and Kenema City Councils on December 3 rd and 4 th 2025.
