The Goethe-Institut invites non-profit, non-governmental organisations in Botswana, Eswatini, Lesotho, Namibia, South Africa, and Zimbabwe to apply for grants under the “Africa-Europe Partnerships for Culture: Southern Africa” project. Deadline for applications is 13 February 2026.

It was all smiles and jubilation on 12 December 2025 when several young people walked away with prizes, cash and other goodies, during an awards ceremony for a Re-Think Waste Youth Challenge competition, which the European Union (EU), in partnership with the EU-Eswatini Youth Advisory Board, ran recently to promote the green agenda and the circular economy.

On the occasion of Human Rights Day, 10 December 2025, the European Union (EU) joined the Government of Eswatini, the Commission on Human Rights and Public Administration, the UN and other partners in commemorating this day which was characterised by panel discussions and threatre to reinforce messages on the importance of human rights to citizens.

Eswatini’s creative community reached an inspiring milestone as the International Trade Centre (ITC), in partnership with the Michelangelo Foundation through support from the European Union (EU), officially launched the country’s first chapter in the Homo Faber Guide.
