For the fifth consecutive year, the EU Delegation to the UK proudly took part in the London Pride parade, marching alongside fellow diplomats under the shared Diplomats for Equality banner in a powerful demonstration of solidarity with LGBTIQ+ communities.

On 1 July, we were proud to host the 5th EU Citizens’ Gathering at the University of Birmingham, bringing together community leaders, civil society organisations, policymakers, diplomats and EU citizens from across the UK.

Between 22-26 June, a group of 20 young professionals from across the country had the opportunity to experience the inner workings of the EU as part of the second edition of the EU Programme for Emerging Leaders.

EU Ambassador Pedro Serrano visited Edinburgh with six Member States Ambassadors on 29-30 June 2026. Discussions focussed on youth mobility, trade, energy and security, highlighting Scotland’s key role in the EU-UK partnership.
