On 11 June 2026, Geneva-based Gender Champions gathered at the EU Delegation in Geneva for the network’s biannual meeting, hosted by H.E. Ambassador Deike Potzel of the Permanent Delegation of the European Union to the United Nations and other International Organisations in Geneva.

On the occasion of World Refugee Day, the EU Delegation in Geneva co-sponsored, together with the United Nations Office at Geneva, the Permanent Mission of Germany to the UN, and the Geneva Welcome Centre CAGI, a Ciné-ONU screening of Lost Land (Harà Watan). The event invited to an evening of reflection and dialogue on displacement, protection, and universal human rights.

The 62nd session of the UN Human Rights Council takes place in Geneva from 15 June until 7 July, and around 25 resolutions are expected to be adopted.
