Agriculture and Rural Development

We act to mitigate the effects of drought in the provinces of Huíla, Cunene and Namibe, financing projects designed to develop appropriate practices of farming in these dry regions. In communities, our beneficiaries are trained on horticulture, collection and management of water, nutritional education...

On the other hand, others actions implemented at an institutional level aim at building capacities of public bodies, for instance in management of disasters. Through several levels of intervention, we help enhancing health in families and developing local activity. Gradually, the more skilled rural population can become more stable and resilient.
