Social Protection
In Angola, where most of the population is young, youth and children remain our priority. Vulnerable children deserve a redoubled effort. In this sense, we have supported projects to strengthen the birth registration and help minors in street situation (Read the story) or in conflict with the law to provide them with better protection and service by public institutions.

To combat poverty, we have funded a Social Protection Support program that includes the payment of a financial subsidy (Social Cash Transfers) to vulnerable families in three Angolan provinces. This pilot initiative, first of its kind in Angola, was a step forward in the experimentation of a social security system.

In addition to working together with public institutions, we collaborate with civil society through grants to project in order to support various vulnerable groups: migrant communities, jailed women and displaced populations, among others.
