Incident Response Workshop in Wellington

The EU joins YouTube, Twitter and Microsoft and the New Zealand Government on 3 & 4 December 2019 for an international online incident response workshop in Wellington. The workshop aims to enhance our collective ability to communicate effectively and respond efficiently in the event of a terrorist or violent extremist attack with an online component.
The EU has considerable expertise in this field. This stems not only from its long and sad history of terrorism, but also from its vast experience in collective action.
Most recently as October 2019, the EU has committed to the EU Crisis Protocol. This is a voluntary mechanism to help coordinate a rapid, collective and cross-border response to the viral spread of terrorist and violent extremist content online.
