On 4 October, Vassilis Maragos, the Head of the European Commission’s DG NEAR Unit responsible for Armenia participated in the 2^nd meeting of EU-Armenia Strategic Policy Dialogue on Armenia’s justice reform strategy. In light of the RA Government’s ambitious agenda to carry out comprehensive justice reforms, the EU expressed its readiness to support the Government. 

Vassilis Maragos welcomed the Government’s efforts to improve public trust in the justice system. He underlined the importance of inclusivity and ownership of all stakeholders, as well as governmental capacity and active engagement, for the successful implementation of this ambitious reform programme, as they are key to bringing about tangible benefits for Armenian citizens.
