Output 1: Strengthened strategic institutional framework for the implementation of the ASEAN Power Grid (APG) initiative 

1. conduct the required analytical works that form the AIMS III Phase 3 
2. develop a stepwise roadmap and financing options for APG implementation 

The roadmap will provide a coherent, central coordinating tool for stakeholders and the coordinating agencies (HAPUA, APGCC, and AERN) to drive APG implementation progress along the various plans ranging from political agreements to technical and analytical inputs required to ensure progressive advancement toward APG implementation 

Output 2: Implementation of pilot multilateral power trading project A pilot project is defined as an expansion of the current transmission arrangements toward multilateral mechanisms across the ASEAN member countries and initiating multilateral electricity transactions Activities under this output: 

(i) scoping and assessment of the potential pilot locations 

(ii) development of pilot project proposal, 

(iii) facilitating pilot project finance mobilisation
