The European Union Latin-America and Caribbean Foundation (EU-LAC) is having its 2020 Essay Competition on the theme: The New Multilateralism in the Age of COVID-19 from the perspective of European Union-Latin America and Caribbean Relations.

The three best essays will be awarded prizes. First prize 2,500 euros; second prize 1,500 euros and third prize 1,000 euros.

The deadline for submission of essays is 3 November 2020 23:59 (CET).

The essay must be written in Spanish or English and contain between 5,000 and 7,000 words, including bibliography and notes, of which 200constitute the executive summary.
