On 27 September, EU Ambassador to China Caspar Veldkamp met with China’s Minister for Environment and Ecology Mr. Huang Runqiu and attended the Annual General Meeting of the China Council for International Cooperation on Environment and Development (CCICED) in Beijing. Both men highlighted the importance of continued EU - China cooperation on climate and the environment. Amb. Veldkamp also met with Mr. Xie Zhenhua - Vice Chairperson of CCICED and former Special Envoy on Climate Change of China and with Vice Minister Li Gao.
