On 25 June, 2025, EU Heads of Mission to the People’s Republic of China had a working lunch with Member of the Political Bureau of the CPC Central Committee and Foreign Minister Wang Yi. The event was held in the Embassy of Poland to China and co-organised by the European Union Delegation to China. Poland is currently holding the rotating Presidency in the Council of the European Union. 

In view of the upcoming EU-China Strategic Dialogue on 2 July, 2025 in Brussels, as well as ahead of the EU-China Summit planned for 24-25 July, 2025 in China, the sides discussed EU-China relations, international and regional hotspots, as well as global issues and multilateral governance in a constructive manner.
