The exhibition “75 women in 75 years of the Council of Europe history” travels across Europe

In November, our exhibition “75 women in 75 years of the Council of Europe history” was displayed in Strasbourg (France) and in Warsaw (Poland).

In Strasbourg, the city of Strasbourg hosted our exhibition for one week in the framework of the World Forum of Democracy in the city hall from the 4th to the 9th November. A guided tour for the public and staff members was organised on the 12th November and attended by 2 members of the Municipality.

Thanks to our colleagues from the Permanent Representation of Poland, the exhibition was then moved to the Casimir Palace of the University of Warsaw and displayed for the Warsaw Dialogue for Democracy. The conference attracted around 200 people, among which were experts, government officials, NGO representatives, professors, and students. With the help of the Polish Network of Women in Diplomacy, the exhibition was also displayed at the main building of the Polish Ministry of Foreign Affairs, where many people, employees and guests pass by. In December, the exhibition will be featured in the context of the events of the XV Warsaw Seminar on Human Rights.

The exhibition was a joint project by the EU Delegation to the Council of Europe, the Council of Europe, and the Permanent Representations of the Netherlands and the United Kingdom.
