International Day to eliminate violence against Women & Girls

Gender based violence against women and girls is one of the worst manifestation of discrimination  and remains the most widespread and pervasive manifestations of human rights violation worldwide, affecting more than 1 in 3 women.

This year, the UN is calling upon partners and governments to end violence against women and show solidarity to women’s rights movements. This is the objective that guided EUDEL staff members depicted in the picture below - stand in solidarity to mark  ‘international day to eliminate violence against women’ by wearing orange at the office on 25 November.
