The EUDEL in Eritrea in cooperation with a frame work contractor Altair Asesores S.L organised a two-week training  in project management capacity building  for the local CSOs’ from 30 January to 9 February 2024 on EU procedures with special emphasis on grants.  18 CSOs’ involved in various projects focusing on supporting people with disabilities, including children, women and youth (with the aim to enhance the social services delivery to vulnerable target groups were able to take part in the training to address efficiency and timely implementation of projects. The various topics addressed were the designing of a projects in  a call for proposal and execution of gender sensitive projects with gender transformative actions that bring people more and better development opportunities. 

Furthermore, the capacity building exercises aimed to increase the capacity of the local CSOs’ already managing EU funded Grant contracts in Eritrea. The action was financed by Technical Cooperation Facility, Support Measures for Regional and Multi-Country Programmes in Sub-Saharan Africa.
