Human Rights Dialogue takes place with the European Union

Today in Tbilisi, the EU and Georgia held the 16th round of their annual Human Rights Dialogue. The participants exchanged views on the human rights situation in Georgia and on the latest developments on the promotion and protection of democracy and human rights since the last dialogue in June 2022.

The Georgian delegation was headed by Mr Teimuraz Janjalia, Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs. The EU delegation was led by Ms Dorota Dlouchy-Suliga, Head of Division in the European External Action Service. The next Human Rights Dialogue between the EU and Georgia is scheduled to take place in Brussels in 2024.
