Preventing Electoral Violence and Providing Security to the Northern Border Regions of Ghana (NorPrevSec) - Output 1: NCCE

The NORPREVSEC Programme aims at preventing pre- and post-electoral violence and at countering violent extremism, terrorism and organized crime in five northernmost regions in Ghana. The programme also addresses the root causes of inter-ethnic and communal violence as well as the rise of violent extremism and religious radicalization, predominantly among the youth.

The NCCE’s role is to sensitize and create awareness among various segments of the population on the threats of violent extremism and terrorism.
