The World Cup, an opportunity to fight violence against women and girls in Haiti

The #16daysOfActivism against violence against women and girls is an opportunity to invite men to become agents of change and promote positive masculinity.

This year, in order to better reach men and young men, the European Union in Haiti has strategically partnered with a sports media to broadcast the various messages and stories of the United Nations Spotlight campaign, during the football World Cup.

To date, through the #AyiboSport TVchannel, the masculinity posters and stories produced have reached over 1.3 million viewers.

The content will continue to be broadcast massively until December 10 on the TV channel and associated online media.

As part of this campaign, videos, posters and messages are also disseminated on the social networks of the European Union and the United Nations agencies. This is to invite all partners to  #OrangeTheWorld #OrangezLeMonde

by sharing content on their platform during #16joursdactivisme  #16daysOfActivism in solidarity with survivors, to eliminate violence against women in all its forms.
