On Thursday 15 February 2024, Mr Sigurður Ingi Jóhannsson, Minister of Infrastructure, was a special guest at the monthly meeting of Ambassadors of EU Member States in Iceland. During the meeting, Minister Jóhannsson discussed the volcanic activity on Reykjanes peninsula and the Government's support to the people of Grindavík who have been evacuated from their town. The Minister also discussed various important infrastructure projects and future development plans around the country.
