On 17 September, Mr. Rok Hrovatin of Cosylab Inc. (https://www.cosylab.com/) gave an online lecture to the EU Science and Technology Counsellors and various other entities from Europe and Japan. Being the world’s leading Slovenian provider for control systems for fusion reactors, proton cancer-therapy machine and nuclear accelerators, the company is an investor for Japanese start-up of Proton Therapy Machine production with support from AMED. The company also works with Iwate University and Tohoku University for fusion reactor and ILC project in Iwate. In the presentation, Mr. Hrovatin gave an overview of the company and shared success stories of research collaboration with Japan.
