Delegation from Turin visits Nagoya to exchange views on open innovation in cities

Turin and Nagoya are stepping up cooperation to create advantageous, attractive spaces for companies and start-ups interested in innovative technology solutions. Representatives of the two sides have visited incubation and open innovation hubs for start-ups in their respective cities and exchanged good practices. In November 2022, a delegation from Nagoya visited “Torino City Lab” and sites linked to “Torino Social Impact”, and this time delegates from Torino visited Nagoya Innovator’s Garage, Nagono Campus and Nagoya University’s “Idea Stoa”. They also visited the Toyota Commemorative Museum of Industry and Technology to get a first-hand look at the history of industrial technology. Through these reciprocal visits, both sides drew inspiration from each other on what actions cities can take to strengthen innovation and foster greater entrepreneurship.
