EU Delegation to Japan does its part on World Coastal Cleanup Day together with European embassies

As part of the #EUBeachCleanup campaign, an annual European Union (EU) effort to fight marine litter co-organised with the United Nations, staff at the EU Delegation again took part in a beach cleanup event at Katase Kaigan beach south of Tokyo, on 16 September (World Coastal Cleanup Day) in partnership with local non-governmental organisation Umisakura. In true ‘Team Europe’ spirit, they were enthusiastically joined by colleagues from the embassies of the EU Member States and other European countries in the endeavour.
