The European Literature Festival will take place in Tokyo from 21 to 26 November at eight locations across the capital this year, bringing writers, translators and other experts from the literary world to share their passion for letters with Japanese bibliophiles. The seventh edition of this festival comprises a series of events including lectures, workshops and dialogues with the participation of 17 European Union (EU) Member States.

The festival is co-organised by the Delegation of the EU to Japan, EU Member State embassies in Japan, EUNIC Japan and the Mita Library in Tokyo’s Minato Ward in the hope that visitors will be able to enjoy experiencing the diversity and excellence of European literature.
