On 25 March, Oscar A. Rudenstam, programme coordinator at the Japan Science and Technology Agency, gave an online presentation to the Science and Technology Counsellors of the European Union, its Member States and other diplomats on the European Interest Group (EIG) Concert-Japan. Thirteen science, technology and innovation funding agencies from 11 European countries and Japan have been partnering to further research collaboration and exchange under EIG Concert-Japan since 2019. Through the sharing of policy knowledge, research exchange, network building and joint funding calls, the programme supports Japanese-European research collaboration in a variety of fields.
