Lecture by CAO on the Science, Technology and Innovation Basic Plan 2021-2025

On 23 April, Mr. Yasuo Shinozawa, Planning Director for Integrated Strategy, Secretariat of Science, Technology and Innovation Policy, Cabinet Office of Japan (CAO), gave an overview of the Science, Technology and Innovation Basic Plan 2021-2025 to the EU S&T Counsellors, STI diplomatic circle and European science business network.

In the lecture, Mr. Shinozawa explained about the new elements of the Plan, which are expected to affect the STI landscape in Japan, as well as about the international dimension of the Plan and concrete actions that the Cabinet Office and the relevant ministries envision in this regard.
