MEXT and NIPR gave lectures on ASM3

During a hybrid-style open lecture event on 21 May, Dr. Hajime Kimura, Deputy Director, Ocean and Earth Division, and Dr. Tetsuo Sueyoshi, Project Associate Professor, National Institute of Polar Research (NIPR), from the Ministry of Education, Culture, Sports, Science and Technology (MEXT) gave presentations to the EU Science and Technology Counsellors.

The presentations highlighted introduction to the third Arctic Science Ministerial Meeting (ASM3)’s science process, including some points from the Joint Statement, and a short overview of Japan’s recent developments in arctic science.
