Completion of the EU-funded REAYAH Project
On 23 February 2025, we marked the successful completion of the REAYAH Project, a transformative initiative funded by the European Union in Jordan and implemented by AECID Jordan, which has made remarkable progress in enhancing healthcare services for Non-Communicable Diseases (NCDs) in Jordan—for both Jordanians and Syrian refugees.
Over the past four years, this €22 million project has:
- Renovated 38 public health centers
- Expanded digital medical records
- Trained 5,500+ healthcare professionals
- Reached 90,000+ people through community outreach
- Educated 21,000 students on healthy habits!
Though the project concludes, its impact lives on—with stronger healthcare infrastructure, improved medical practices, and empowered healthcare providers ready to shape a healthier future for all.
