Opening of the 3rd Annual Media Forum “The Digital Frontline: Online Presence in Times of AI and Information Manipulation”

This regional Media Forum, “The Digital Frontline: Online Presence in Times of AI and Information Manipulation,” is bringing together media professionals from across Central Asia and European Union for a full day of expert discussions, practical workshops and regional networking. The event offers a unique platform to explore how AI and digital manipulation are affecting the media sector and what tools, skills and collective approaches are needed to navigate these fast-evolving challenges.

The event will start with the opening remarks by:

• H.E. Ms. Aleska Simkic, EU Ambassador to Kazakhstan

• H.E. Mr. Eduards Stiprais, EU Special Representative for Central Asia

• Ms. Anar Ibrayeva, Provost, Maqsut Narikbayev University

Media representatives are kindly invited to attend the opening session of the Forum (09:30–11:00). All subsequent round tables, and workshops will be held strictly off the record to ensure a safe environment for professional exchange among participants.
