The "Kazakhstan Uncensored" project aims to promote and protect fundamental freedom of expression in the country, as well as citizens’ access to better and more reliable information about their rights, based on strengthened capacities of the media and CSOs.

The project organizers invite activists, journalists, bloggers, representatives of civil society and media representatives to participate in training, which will take place:

• November 8-9, 2023 in Almaty
• November 17-18, 2023 in Astana

The first day of the training will be dedicated to human rights in the context of freedom of expression and digital rights. The second day of the training will cover physical and technical security, as well as censorship and self-censorship.

For participants from other regions of Kazakhstan, financial expenses for travel and accommodation in Almaty/Astana during the training period are provided.
