A need for emergency travel documents;
A serious accident or serious illness;
Relief and repatriation in case of an emergency;
Being a victim of crime;

The European Union Delegation in Liberia works closely with the 27 EU Member States, both those who have a permanent diplomatic presence in Liberia and those who do not. The European Union Delegation has a coordinating role for consular matters. However, the Delegation does not deal with any task of a consular nature, such as issuing passports or visas which is a Member State competence. The Delegation also does not provide tourist information.

Please note that the EU Delegation Liberia cannot provide direct consular assistance.
As an EU citizen, you can take simple steps to make your consular protection more effective, for example:
Following the travel advice issued by your country’s Foreign Ministry.
When abroad, registering with your Embassy or Consulate and/or through dedicated platforms, if applicable.
Other tips include keeping an electronic copy of your travel documents, subscribing to a travel insurance or saving crisis contact details.
