Conflict Prevention and Promotion of Intercultural Dialogue in Mauritania – Supporting Youth Participation in an Inclusive and Sustainable Society

Overall Objective:
Improve stability in Mauritania by strengthening social inclusion and civic participation among young people, including women.

Specific Objective:
Strengthen the availability of civic, sports, and cultural activity spaces for young people.

Results : 

1. The capacities of institutions involved in implementing the strategies of the Ministry of Youth Empowerment, Employment, Sports, and Civic Service (MAJESSC) are strengthened.
2. The number and quality of inclusive civic, sports, and cultural spaces for young people are improved.
3. Civic, sports, and cultural spaces for young people are managed and facilitated in an inclusive and sustainable manner.
4. Civic, sports, and cultural spaces for young people serve as a platform for implementation activities.
