EU anti-disinformation awards 2023
Ziarul de Gardă, WatchDog.MD, the StopFals.md project of the Independent Press Association and the Center for Independent Journalism Moldova won EU awards for the fight against disinformation.
The European Union Delegation to the Republic of Moldova offered awards in four categories: mass media, civil society, projects aimed at combating disinformation, as well as media literacy.
The initiative aims to strengthen resistance to manipulation and propaganda and support the capacity of Moldovan media and civil society actors to respond to misinformation and promote critical thinking.
