On 2 September 2025, the EU and the Republic of Moldova signed an agreement which paves the way for the country’s participation in Creative Europe, the European Union’s flagship programme to support the cultural and creative sectors, as from 1 January 2026. Once the agreement is ratified by Moldova, organisations, artists, and cultural professionals from the country will be eligible to participate in calls published under the Culture strand of the programme and benefit from EU funding on equal terms with their peers across Europe (more information can be found here).

The European Commission and its European Education and Culture Executive Agency will host an online Webinar on Monday, 24 November, 11.00 EET (10.00 CET) to inform interested organisations and professionals from Moldova’s cultural and creative sectors about open and upcoming opportunities under the calls of Creative Europe’s Culture strand

Following a general introduction, the Webinar will present among others the following calls and provide information on eligibility, application deadlines and where to find more information:

The Webinar will also provide the opportunity to ask questions in a final Q&A session.
