Apply to become a Youth Activity Organiser for EYE2027!

WHAT IS EYE2027?

The EYE (European Youth Event) brings together thousands of young people from across the European Union and beyond, right at the heart of European democracy, to discuss Europe’s present and future. Taking place every two years at the European Parliament in Strasbourg, the EYE is a unique opportunity for 16- to 30-year-olds to engage directly with Members of the European Parliament, to exchange views with decision-makers, experts and other young people, to inspire and get inspired.

EYE2027, the seventh edition of this event, will take place on 18 and 19 June 2027, offering plenty of interactive activities, including debates, workshops, visits, artistic performances - both inside the European Parliament and in the EYE Village.

The EYE programme will centre around what Parliament does and what it stands for, creating opportunities for participants to discuss legislative priorities with Members and explore how their ideas can contribute to European policymaking.

Co-created with European and international institutions, youth organisations and participants themselves, the programme will be structured around four key themes: quality of life, competitiveness, security and EU values.

WHO ARE WE LOOKING FOR?

The European Parliament is looking for Youth Activity Organisers to contribute to the official EYE2027 programme by designing and delivering interactive workshops or small-scale artistic performances during the event, inside the European Parliament premises in Strasbourg on 18 and 19 June 2027.

The call is open to proposals for a broad range of formats, provided that they actively involve participants and support them in exploring issues and perspectives related to at least one of the four key EYE2027 themes:

  • Quality of life – activities focusing on social rights and living conditions
  • Competitiveness – activities around jobs, prosperity and economic growth
  • Security – activities focusing on security, safety and defence
  • EU values – activities centred around democratic values

Activities must be delivered in English, as we cannot guarantee interpretation in other languages, and must have a minimum duration of 30 minutes and a maximum duration of 90 minutes. Selected activities will take place on both event days of EYE2027, therefore organisers must be available to deliver their activities twice, once on each day of the event.
