With public servants from the Western Balkans at ReSPA, in the frame of a capacity building and mobility programme designed with the Italian National School of Administration (SNA) Deputy Head of Delegation of the European Union to Montenegro, Riccardo Serri discussed the dynamics of the European Integration in the Western Balkans, the geopolitical context, and the new challenges ahead while reassuring participants that the Enlargement file is moving forward meaningfully.

Mr SERRI had a lively Q&A session with the participants, who were eager to hear more about the prospects of the EU Enlargement Policy in the Western Balkans after the June elections. Mr SERRI called the attendees to focus on the fundamentals of the accession, which will lead to deeper integration while emphasising the necessity for strong human capacities to drive the process forward.
