CERV 2026 Call for proposals to foster Citizens’ engagement and participation

 

A new CERV call has been launched which, next to the engagement with civil society, also includes several sub-priorities including building capacity with public authorities, along the lines of the priorities of the European Democracy Shield. 

Candidate countries are eligible for CERV funding.

This call includes several sub-priorities building capacity with public authorities.

In particular, the call includes a sub-priority targeting national public bodies competent in electoral matters, supporting activities by public bodies that ensure the fairness and integrity of electoral processes, resilient to risks such as foreign interference, cyber-attacks, etc.

The call also includes a sub-priority targeting local and regional authorities, to promote citizens' active engagement and democratic participation in public policymaking.
