The UNDP in Montenegro announces a Public Call for Civil Society Organizations registered in Montenegro to submit project proposals

 

Podgorica, 12th June 2023 - The United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) in Montenegro announces a Public Call for Civil Society Organisations registered in Montenegro that are engaged in promoting transitional justice and social cohesion, and protecting human rights.

The Public Call is published within the framework of the regional project “EU Support to Confidence Building in the Western Balkans " funded by the European Union and implemented by UNDP. The project implementation began on January 1st 2023, and will last for four years. The project will provide expert support to judicial and law enforcement authorities in Bosnia and Herzegovina, Montenegro, Kosovo*, North Macedonia, and Serbia in the prosecution of war crimes cases at the national level, improve conditions for regional cooperation in the processing of these cases, enhance support to war crimes victims and witnesses, strengthen the capacities of relevant actors in supporting victims, thereby advancing the effective and efficient prosecution of war crimes in the Western Balkans, focusing on victims and respect for human rights.

The deadline for applications is Monday, 10th July 2023, until 5:00 PM.

The minimum grant amount is EUR 5,000, and the maximum is EUR 80,000.

The proposed project can have a duration of at least 4 months and a maximum of 24 months.
