67 Tonnes of Disaster Relief Supplies Delivered to Nepal

Today, EU Ambassador-Designate Charles Whiteley and Benjamin Seidel, Chargé d’Affaires of the German Embassy, handed over 67 tonnes of disaster relief materials to Honourable Mahabir Pun. Germany and Luxembourg provided 61 and 6 tonnes of essential supplies, respectively, through the EU’s Civil Protection Mechanism. The materials were supplied in response to requests from the Government of Nepal. More flights carrying relief supplies are expected to arrive soon.
