The Week of Italian Cuisine in the World celebrates the culture, flavour and rituals across Italy. This year highlights the world-famous Mediterranean diet. The Italian Embassy will be organising a series of events taking place 19-25 November 2018. To celebrate, renowned Italian Chefs Alessandro Cannata and Francesca Fucci will travel especially from Europe to cook at Giraffe in Auckland (20 November), Hopgood’s in Nelson (22 November) and The Rees in Queenstown (25 November). The Italian Embassy will also be sponsoring free cooking classes in Wellington on 22 November.
