Call for Expression of Interest - (local) health insurance services for DG ECHO offices in Latin America and the Caribbean

The Regional Office of the Directorate-General for European Civil Protection and Humanitarian Aid Operations (DG ECHO) in Panama reports that it is conducting a market survey with the aim of identifying insurance companies and/or brokers with the capacity to offer (local) health insurance services for its staff in Colombia, Ecuador, Haiti, Nicaragua, Panama Venezuela.

The purpose of this exercise is to assess the availability and conditions of the market, as well as to identify potential suppliers with experience in:

  • National and/or regional medical coverage
  • Policy administration for international organizations or multilateral entities. 
  • Pre-existence coverage. 
  • Claims management in multiple countries

Companies interested in participating in this market survey will be able to express their interest by sending an email with the following information:

  • Company name
  • Type of entity (direct insurer, reinsurer or broker)
  • Country(ies) of operation in Latin America and the Caribbean
  • Brief description of the services offered (maximum 10 lines)
  • Contact person (name, position, email and phone)
