Team Europe Reaffirms Strong Support for Ukraine
Team Europe in Singapore reaffirmed the European Union’s steadfast support for Ukraine during an exchange with Vladyslav Vlasiuk, Advisor-Commissioner on Sanctions Policy to the President of Ukraine.

The discussion addressed sanctions policy, developments on the ground and the importance of coordinated international action in response to Russia’s ongoing war of aggression. It underscored the EU’s continued commitment to Ukraine’s sovereignty, independence and territorial integrity, and to upholding international law.

“Our strength is in our unity,” said EU Ambassador to Singapore Artis Bērtulis. “Hearing directly from Ukraine’s sanctions envoy helps us better understand the evolving situation and strengthen our collective response. We stand with Ukraine in upholding international law and working with partners to ensure that Russia’s aggression does not go unanswered. ”
The meeting formed part of the EU Heads of Mission’s broader diplomatic engagement in Singapore, bringing EU Member States together to exchange views, coordinate positions and reinforce a shared commitment to peace, security and international cooperation.

The programme began with a tour of Crosscurrents: Masterpieces of Mughal, Safavid and Ottoman Art from the Musée du Louvre at the Asian Civilisations Museum. The exhibition explores the artistic, cultural and commercial connections that have linked Europe and Asia across centuries.
The visit highlighted the enduring importance of dialogue and exchange in cultural relations, in diplomacy and in forging and deepening international partnerships.
