A strong media outreach saw the publication of two Opinion Editorials on the topic in Singapore media. The first: Ukraine Foreign Minister Dmytro Kuleba and HR/VP Josep Borrell’s joint OpEd titled Europe and the world need Ukraine to prevail.
Ambassador Piórko's Opinion Editorial titled Two Years of Russia’s war against Ukraine was published on 24th Feb 2024 in The Business Times.
#TeamEurope #StandWithUkraine message was released simultaneously on several platforms including YouTube. It has been viewed over 7,000 times on X (@EUinSingapore). This message also appeared as a Featured Video on EEAS Zone.
On 24th Feb, Ambassador Piórko together with the Ukraine Ambassador delivered opening remarks at the screening of award-winning documentary 20 Days in Mariupol. This event was jointly presented by the Singapore Film Society and Singapore Press Club and included a post-show panel discussion with prominent editors from Singapore and international media.
The Delegation used all its social media platforms for messaging in the lead-up and on 24th Feb 2024.
