To celebrate the 60th anniversary of the EU-Korea relations in 2023, the Delegation of the European Union to the Republic of Korea launches the EU Mascot Design Contest in the Republic of Korea. EU Mascot Design Contest in South Korea

The Delegation of the European Union to the Republic of Korea launches a competition for the EU Mascot that represents both the EU and the RoK and their diplomatic partnership.

Express your creative ideas based on the theme “EU and Korea, 60 years of partnership and beyond,” with the objective of inspiring others to understand the meaning of the EU-Korea relations through a mascot. Show us what comes to your mind when you reflect on the EU and its cooperation with Korea. Illustrate your ideas that best depict the EU and Korea together using the “tiger.”

 

Rules and Guidelines:

  • Your Mascot must be an illustration in a.i. file and jpg. file.
  • The submission of the work should be digital with a minimum resolution of 300 dpi.
  • Submission is free and you may submit more than one artwork (maximum 3).
  • The artwork must be original, unpublished and unproduced. Any piece posted online, anywhere other than a personal blog, is considered published and will not be eligible.
  • You must consent to the agreement that the copyrights will be owned by the EU Delegation to the RoK, once it is selected as the winning mascot.  

 

Eligibility:

The competition is open to the Korean citizens residing in South Korea, without age limit.

 

How to submit:

  • Send your works to euinkorea.drawing@gmail.com and mention "Submission for the EU Mascot Design Contest" in the subject of your email.
  • Together with the mascot(s), participants must submit a completed entry form and a signed ‘Release & Waiver’ form.
