The project, implemented by Stichting War Child, aims to:

1. ensure children and their families from the Northern Province of Sri Lanka, affected by the conflict and other forms of violence, are actively engaged and lead processes for the protection and promotion of children's rights; and
2. strengthen institutions and organizations from the Northern region to be able to deliver better services for children and women through support and improved coordination.

The value of the European Union's contribution is EUR 437,750.
