A Day Of Dialogue with Syrian Civil Society

After decades of crimes and violence perpetrated by the Assad regime, the Day of Dialogue is organised for the first time inside Syria, on 15 November 2025, in cooperation with the transitional authorities.

The fall of the Assad regime ended decades of abuses and marked an historic opportunity for a truly Syrian-led, Syrian-owned comprehensive political, economic and social transition. In a successful inclusive transition, all Syrians have a voice.  All of their aspirations should be addressed. 

This is why the Day of Dialogue will offer a platform for Syrian voices to be heard both at national and international level, to shape the Syria they envision.

The EU continues to be a supporter of the Syrian people and of all Syrian, regional and international civil society organisations and non-governmental organisation who are engaging in the political transition, economic recovery, reconstruction and the re-building of Syria’s social fabric. The EU will continue to stand with the Syrian people for an inclusive, Syrian-led Syrian-owned transition towards an independent and prosperous state.
