Call for Proposals - Organisation of an EU Values Football Tournament – 9 May

23.02.2026

The Delegation of the European Union to the United Republic of Tanzania invites qualified companies, organisations, or consortia to submit proposals for the design, organisation, and implementation of a one-day football tournament to be held on Saturday 9 May.

The activity will mark Europe Day and serve as a public-facing event, promoting values commonly associated with the European Union, including peace, unity, diversity, inclusion, fair play, and teamwork (including Team Europe). The tournament would ideally bring together a mix of participants, potentially including diplomats, women’s teams, youth groups, civil society representatives, and other relevant Tanzanian stakeholders.

The objective is to create a visible, inclusive, and engaging event that highlights EU values while fostering dialogue, participation and community spirit. Teams should be able to participate as long as possible -  it is more about participation than winning.

  • Cover any necessary transport, refreshments, or other logistical costs required for smooth event delivery.

3) Media and Communications

  • Develop a simple branding concept for the tournament, aligned with EU visual identity.
  • Produce visual materials (e.g., banners, backdrops, digital graphics).
  • Implement a media outreach plan before, during, and after the event, targeting print, broadcast, and digital platforms.
  • Provide professional photography and videography during the tournament.
