4th European Cinema Days in Türkiye
Dear Friends,
This year, we invite you once again to discover Europe through cinema - through stories that cross borders, languages and generations.
Cinema has a unique way of bringing us closer to places and lives we may know little about, while revealing the experiences and emotions we share.
Our journey takes us through the unexpected in Peacock and Heads or Fails, stories of Life & Love and Four Mothers, the sounds of Athens Midnight Radio and Gloria!, and the wordless beauty of Flow.
Other films explore change, resilience, identity and human connection - from A Boat in the Garden, Kidnapped! and Loss of Balance to Breathing Underwater, Glimmers, My Voice, Tasty and Nice People. Finally, Mr Nobody Against Putin brings us closer to one of the difficult realities shaping our world today.
Together, these films reflect what makes European cinema so rich: a diversity of stories, cultures, languages and perspectives. This is the spirit of the European Cinema Days.
We are delighted to share these films with audiences across Türkiye and to create opportunities for discovery, connection and, above all, the simple pleasure of cinema.
I would like to thank the Embassies and Cultural Institutes of the EU Member States, as well as our EU Information Centres across Türkiye, for making this journey possible.
