Recap

The world seems to be coming to an end, teeming with the vestiges of a human presence. Cat is a solitary animal, but as its home is devastated by a great flood, it finds refuge on a boat populated by various species, and it has to team up with them despite their differences. In the lonesome boat sailing through mystical flooded landscapes, they navigate the challenges and dangers of adapting to this new world together.

Gints Zilbalodis

A Latvian filmmaker and animator. His first feature, Away, won the Prix Contrechamp for Best Feature at Annecy and has been selected for over 85 festivals. Before Away, he made 7 short films in a variety of media, including hand-drawn animation, 3D animation, and live action, often blending the distinctive aesthetics of each medium.
