Isabel’s life is turned on its head the day her daughter Madalen asks her to make regular visits to the ailing Ramón. Fifteen years after leaving her ex-husband, a man she sees as a stranger despite having been married to him for years, Isabel experiences renewed feelings of resentment. But accompanying Ramón at his most vulnerable will make her see what happened to them with fresh eyes and allow her to concentrate on her own life as it stands today.

Pilar Palomero

Born in Zaragoza, Spain. In 2013, Pilar began an MFA in filmmaking at Film Factory (Sarajevo) under the leadership of Hungarian filmmaker Béla Tarr. Before that, she worked for several years as a screenwriter and film teacher. Her debut film, Las Niñas, received various nominations and won awards at various prestigious festivals, in addition to 9 nominations at the 2021 Goya Awards (Spanish Film Academy Awards), including Best Film.
